With the beautiful sunny days that have returned to Málaga, we took the opportunity to go out on a ride again.
We decided to head to Rincón de la Victoria, a spectacular coastal town on the Costa del Sol with a surfer vibe, sun, and beach.
This route is perfect for those looking for a journey full of history, nature, and stunning views of the Mediterranean, all with the comfort of an electric bike.

We took the chance to visit two hidden gems along this route: the Treasure Caves and Villa Antiopa.

On the way to Rincón, we came across the Treasure Caves, our first stop of the day.
One of the few marine-origin caves in the world and the only one open to visitors in Europe.
Its history is shrouded in mystery: from legends of treasures hidden by the Templars or Arabs to its use as a refuge in prehistoric times.

Entering these caves is like traveling back in time.
Their galleries, underground lakes, and rock formations shaped by water create a magical atmosphere that makes the visit a must.
Additionally, thanks to the e-bike, we arrived effortlessly and with enough energy to explore every corner of this amazing place.

After this incredible experience, we continued our journey to Rincón de la Victoria, where we stopped to recharge at one of its many chiringuitos.
The ride to Rincón follows one of the most beautiful stretches of the Gran Senda Litoral of Málaga, passing through tunnels of an old train and offering breathtaking views of the cliffs in the area.

Once we had recharged in Rincón de la Victoria, it was worth continuing to Villa Antiopa, a Roman site in Torre de Benagalbón, on the shores of the Mediterranean, dating from the late 3rd and early 4th century AD.
A journey back in time to life in the ancient Roman civilization, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the history of our ancestors through archaeological and architectural remains, ceramics including 13 unique and valuable mosaics, and other movable artifacts.

A unique experience where you can see, hear, touch, taste, and smell history through a combination of traditional museographic resources and advanced technological tools to make the experience as immersive as possible.

What makes this route particularly special is the return journey.
The sun setting behind the city of Málaga in the evening makes the ride back an incredible moment.
A different and unforgettable image of Málaga.
