Malagueta

Between the port of Malaga and Caleta beach, there is Malagueta, the most famous beach in the city. Its name written with large letters on the same beach, serve as an orientation to the hundreds of visitors who spend the day there, with one eye on the mountain landscape by the end of Malagaand the other on Muelle Uno, the port, recently finished. Lots of restaurants, museums and even a lighthouse.
On the beach we will find a variety of bars, excellent services (surveillance and rescue, cleaning, rental of umbrellas, and sun beds), and a young atmosphere, have contributed to making Malagueta one of the most complete of the beaches.

Pedregalejo

An old fishermen neighborhood, which is slowly becoming a trendy neighborhood. A series of small horseshoe-shaped coves along 1200 meters, with all kinds of restaurants and local bars of excellent quality, some with live music.
If you want to have a snack or dinner at one of the beach bars, you can enjoy stunning views of the coast of Malaga, in a chill atmosphere.

Sacaba

Sacaba beach is west of the city, between the end of the river Guadalhorce and Misericordia beach, at the end of the Huelin neighborhood, which is the name of one of the largest neighborhoods in Malaga. The beaches are equipped with bike lanes on the promenade, playgrounds, and public gym areas. Chiller thanthe previous beaches, and because of the bike lane, makes the ride much more relaxed. Distance: 5.5 km.

El Peñón del Cuervo

El Peñón del Cuervo beach, a protected biological area in Málaga, because of the Siempreviva Malagueña (limonium malacitanium), a plant in serious risk of extinction.
A beautiful cove with a large rock formation in the sea, by which it takes its name, which divides the beach into two areas, and which can be reached by swimming, climbing and jumping into the water. In this beach the celebration of concerts and beach parties are common and it has an area enabled to enjoy barbecues with tables and benches. Always better to go early in the morning, because it is a very popular place. At the back, the tallest building in Malaga, the cement tower of La Araña. Distance: 8.5 km

Rincón de la Victoria.

From the center of Malaga, we will cross the entire coastline to Rincon de la Victoria, the next big city near Malaga. It is a surprise to find so many different places in this way.
Passing through El Palo, a traditional fishermen neighborhood, with its bridges on the seafront and through tunnels dug in the rocks, communication infrastructure of yesteryear, with special relevance in the cliff areas, since the tunnels and trenches were part of the coastal suburban railway.
The profile is almost completely flat, ascending only in El Cantal, La Araña and El Candado, at low altitude and very smoothly. After crossing bridges, picnic boxes and tunnels, we will arrive at the chapel dedicated to the Virgen del Carmen, the patron saint of sailors.
