When: Saturday September 8, 19:30 Cathedral, 23:30 arrive to basilica
What: Día de la Victoria (day of the conquest)
At midday a famous local celebrity makes a speech followed by a procession from Victoria Church to the city centre. It is a colourful and exciting occasion and you can join in!
Where: Begin of the procession at the Cathedral, through the city centre and ending at the basilica.
When: Friday 15th and Saturday 16th of September, 20:30
What: Fashion week of Málaga
This year it will be the eighth edition of the fashion week. One of the biggest event in Málaga. During two evenings, Spanish and other international fashion designers will be showing their latest fashion collections. Calle Larios becomes a 300m long stage cover by a beautiful bleu carpet. An amazing catwalk.

When: From the 6th till the 13th of September
What: Golden age (Film festival Málaga)
During this week over 22 classic movies will be presented.

What: Malaga tattoo convention
Professional tattoo artists from all over the world come to the city. The event includes body painting, competitions and a Barber Academy offers free hair and beard cuts.

When: Sunday 23th of September
What: Día del Pedal (bike day)
One of the biggest sport events takes place this month. Cyclists can choose between 2 routes – 5,5km and 12km. There is no need to sign up for the event, you can just come up to the departure line.
Where: The 5km ride starts at the Law Faculty on the Boulevar Louis Pasteur at Teatinos district and ends at City Hall. The 12km ride starts at City Hall on the Paseo del Parque at 10am and goes through the city and finishes at City hall, again.
